  This is conveniently located for me, and the recent renovations and upgrades they've made are nice. However, one thing I don't like since the change from Albertson's, is that Safeway is one of those stores that requires a card or you to enter your phone number to get most of the deals. I refuse to carry another card (I asked, they don't have a small one for the keychain) and entering the number just slows down quick transactions.

  Employees are friendly and if you shop their sales, they can save you money, but make sure you know what is a good deal. Sometimes their sale prices are still more expensive than other store's regular prices. Also check your receipt to make sure you got the sale price. More than once I've had to go back because the wrong price rang up.
